I am a Computer Science and Engineering undergraduate at M. Kumarasamy College of Engineering, Karur, and my work sits firmly on the server side.
Most of what I build is Java and Spring Boot: REST endpoints organised into controller, service and repository layers, entity relationships mapped with Spring Data JPA, and MySQL schemas designed before a line of business logic gets written. I care about the boring parts — predictable structure, sensible naming, data that stays consistent under real workflows.
Outside Java, I spent a summer at SeaKnots IT Solutions working on Windows Services in C# and .NET, and getting my first look at how cloud deployment works on Azure. At my college's Technology Innovation Hub I designed and built a Discipline Management System in PHP, JavaScript and MySQL — backend logic, database schema, and role-based access for faculty and administrators, now planned for integration with the college ERP.
That mix is deliberate. Institutional software taught me what happens when real people with different permissions use the thing you built, and enterprise .NET showed me what maintained, long-lived code looks like. Both feed back into how I write Java.
I am currently looking for backend or full-stack internships where I can work on production systems and keep learning from people who have shipped more than I have.
